About Howard Zeiden
Now an expert’s expert on sales & marketing strategy and a private consultant and coach to entrepreneurs, top sales professionals, professional practices and business owners across North America, Howard cut his business chops at the ripe age of 14 working in his father’s Men’s Clothing Business in Beaver Falls, PA.
After college at the University of Illinois, he began his official sales and marketing career in the restaurant business in New York City and then moved into the world of Television Broadcasting working in several cities: Pittsburgh, Baltimore, New York, Chicago, San Diego, Orlando, Boston and Washington, DC. During that time he worked with myriad of clients ranging from automotive, food services, and packaged good businesses to those in the professional and financial industries and retail establishments of all sizes and products. While in the broadcasting industry Zeiden served on a number of different Marketing Advisory Boards for CBS, NBC and the Television Bureau of Advertising.
Having met and worked with Bill Glazer when Howard was with the then NBC affiliate in Baltimore, WMAR-TV and Glazer was running his successful clothing stores…Gage Clothes, they became friends. When Howard left Baltimore in 1991 they continued to stay in touch and fifteen years later, in 2006 Bill and his business partner, Dan Kennedy (two of the greatest marketers and copywriters in the world) sought out Howard to head up their new Area Exclusive business opportunity…The Independent Business Advisor (IBA) Program. In just over 5 years Howard built the IBA program to almost 100 Independent Business Advisors throughout North America.
As Vice President of Area Services, this position showcased Howard’s advanced sales & marketing skills but fostered a passion that he wasn’t aware existed within him … consulting and coaching. As he expanded the Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s CircleTM Area Exclusive Program, he came to realize that the advisors he supported in their efforts to expand and grow their GKIC business opportunity relied upon him for council on everything from marketing, to customer retention, to sales strategy, and even putting on events in their core businesses. The opportunities that he helped them to recognize and implement led to some pretty amazing transformations that were the inspiration for his next career move …
Zeiden Consulting Enterprises, LLC is a result of Howard’s expansive industry experience and more than 35 years of real world, hands-on sales and marketing knowhow. This consulting firm is a culmination of all of that experience and knowledge and offers top sales professionals, entrepreneurs, professional practices and business owners an opportunity to learn from and be guided by an expert’s expert in sales, marketing and business strategies.
Howard lives in Baltimore, MD with his wife Kathleen. They have two daughters and two grandchildren who they visit as often as possible. He is otherwise busily working with the entrepreneurs that seek him out to affect dramatic changes in their businesses.
